Adam Hardy is a drummer from Minlaton, South Australia.

He has been a drummer for 20 years or so on and off, but almost took a decade break during his 20s due to a mental breakdown assosciated with his injury.

Adam fell about 8 feet out of a tree in 1992, aged 11, which broke his skull and damaged his left frontal lobe. He adds "I now have an ear to ear scar and have been diagnosed with some psycosocial disorders but everyday I'm finding out new things about my injury, learning to come to terms and accept and always finding new courage to share the information I find out about myself and my injury".

Adam has played in a handful of bands in both NSW and South Australia and played more gigs then he can care to remember in both states. He adds "Music has always been for me to feed my soul and it's always been about my connection to bandmates and friends in my musical circle, I've never had a desire to be famous or well known. I admin a local musicians group where I live with 200+ members and through that we advertise shows, share our music and achievements and this is really the highlight of my musical life so far".

Adam's drumming influences are: Abe Cunningham, Dave Abbruzzese, Jon Stanier, and Clint Hyndman.

Adam says because of his TBI, he struggles with song names, even sometimes how songs start. He adds "I often just ask for the first vocal line and I'm right. Set lists need to be written or I'm asking what's next even if we're only playing 3 songs". he sometimes gets rage spells that can last for days, some sensory overload, sometimes language difficulties.

Adam currently plays in a band called "Stood Down"
