Challenge: Mental Health
Alvaro Gonzalez was born in October 1980. He has one brother and one sister. He adds "Actually born with mom and brother my dad is separated".
From around 1990, when Alvaro was 10 years old, he began to play his first keyboard, a Casio SA-20 a stereo mini keyboard with 100 sounds.
In later years, Alvaro began to compose vía DAW (computer software) with FL Studio, Ableton Live and Cubase 6, Pro Tools, M-powered, Presonus studio one.
His musical influences come from artists such as Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Jan Hammer, Eric Serra, Hans Zimmer, Enya, Dead Can Dance, Deep Forest, Brian Eno, and Yanni Kitaro.
Alvaro says "My work takes time, I don't play all notes and scales... my playing ability is medium".
Alvaro occasionally plays live in a church restaurant in Santiago.
