Chip Battoe is a vocalist from Washington DC.

Chip says "I have been singing my whole life. I play a little piano and guitar as well". Chip is a classically-trained vocalist and has sung with the Dallas Symphony Chorus, the Lexington Singers (KY), the Chicago Chamber Choir, and various other choirs. Chip adds "I've had plenty of solos, especially "O Holy Night" most Christmases at my childhood church back in Kentucky".

Chip is a T12 Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) due to a collision with a van while on his scooter, 3/31/13, Easter Sunday. Chip adds "I believe that making God's will your own allows for accomplishing infinitely more than you could accomplish alone".

Some of the highlights of Chip's musical journey were being ranked as a top classical singer as a senior in college for the region (7 states).

He sang in a backup choir for Michael Crawford (he did a bunch of Andrew Lloyd Webber songs and is the first Phantom of the Opera), also a backup choir for the Chieftains while in college. Chip was a member of Chicago Chamber Choir, Dallas Symphony Chorus, Lexington Singers, and has also been a soloist in a bunch of weddings and church services.

Chip loves Gospel singing but also Rock, Classical. Chip says his influences come from Paul Simon, Elvis, The Beatles, The Doors, Cake, and Daft Punk to name a few.

Chip is looking to join groups (bands, a cappella groups, pro choirs) or develop solo act in Washington DC.
