Cactus is composed of four artists with disabilities, three professional musicians, and one sound engineer.

Cactus was born in 2010 from the encounter of talented musicians with disabilities in the context of workshops tailored Pecq conservatory. Their vital need to play music, a fact that quickly the group were asked to help with awareness campaigns on disability.

Primarily the group has 7 musicians, but sometimes the group may appear as a smaller group with a suitable directory (motown / jazz). reduced training: 4 musicians including 2 disabled.

The band consists of:

Paul Serey plays congas and bongos, he has a Down syndrome and other difficulties.. but no difficulty at all when it comes to rhythm and music.

Alexandre Ponty plays keyboards, despite his Williams-Beuren syndrome he plays and improvises like a champ.

Cecilia Barbosa and Sophie Bergault are on dance, chorals and crazy laughters, with no regard whatsoever to their alleged intellectual difficulties.

Alexandre Vukobrat sings and plays saxophones, and Romain Vignaud is on drums, mayonnaise and french frites.

Lyonel Arnal "analog-man" Naya is on sound and magic, and last but not least, Michael "the boss" Bougon is on bass, songs, guembri, peul flute, saxophone, songwriting, and leading the group.
