Heidi has been described as an "alchemist with songs from eternity" for her powerful songwriting. Her emotional and musical language runs from the sublime Angel Song through to the rockin' AWOL, screaming "where has all your fight gone".

Heidi's award winning songs tell powerful stories of her own life experiences. Audiences all over Australia have found themselves drawn into the raw beauty of her tales, connecting their own stories to lyrics that invite you in to sit down and chat.

Heidi and her music featured in Andrew Denton's Enough Rope documentary on mental illness, Angels and Demons, in 2008. Andrew Denton was so taken by Heidi, her story and her capacity as an artist, that he said "it doesn't matter how long my career goes, I don't think I will ever have a conversation more extraordinary than that one".

Heidi recently released her first EP titled A Week In The Life. The EP features 6 of her brilliant songs, played by some of Melbourne's top musicans and some of Heidi's best friends! The fabulous cover is Heidi's original artwork, photographed from a pop-up beach scene which reflects Heidi's love of surfing and the ocean.

Heidi is a strong advocate for the transforming power of music for mental health. She plays many gigs and is a frequently invited speaker for others who experience, and care for those with, mental health challenges in their lives. Heidi is a founding member and long time supporter of the Music Network for Mental Health through Wild@heArt, which helped bring her music to her audiences.

Heidi's music has a broad appeal and a positive life message. This is reflected in the lyrics of her reggae-flavoured song Another Day, which she often gets her audiences to sing with her. “You will be there to light my way, everyday, another day”.
