To Jesper Odelberg anything is possible: the stand-up comedian, lecturer, debater, actor, musician. Born in 1970, Jesper has become known as Swedish stand-up comedian, musician, debater, actor and politician.

He has been a well known artist in Sweden since 1997.

When he was in the nineties took the leap into the artistic world, he was unique. As a wheelchair user, stage personality, he has been taking a lot of fight with all our prejudices about disability and wheelchairs.

His big breakthrough was 1997 in the TV show "Släng dig i brunnen". He is known for being very selfexposing and often jokes about Celebral Palsy, since he lives with it himself.

Jesper is brother to the songwriter and artist Joakim Odelberg and he has a sister, Pia Emanuelsson.

In 1997, Jesper toured as a folksinger together with the pianist Thomas Darelid.

In 1998 Jesper did 70 shows performing the "Den onde, den gode och den fule" with Thomas Oredsson, Jan Bylund and Håkan Jäder under the direction of the Swedish National Theater.

Jesper recorded a self titled album "Jesper Odelberg" in 1999, where he interprets classical Swedish folksongs. If you have Spotify you can listen to the album here.

His appearance on Norwegian television in 2006 with his band, Boys on Wheels, brought him wider fame, when it appeared on various Internet video sharing sites.

In 2007, Jesper went on tour again as a singer in the big band "Bohuslän Big Band" and the pianist Thomas Darelid.

Now, Jesper started writing his own music and has together with the seasoned musicians Göran Berg, Michael Krönlein and Gunnar Frick formed the Jesper Odelberg Band. Their show "The normal functioning of the human burden" is a personal show with music and Standup bidding on Jesper's self-written songs, special interpretations of others' songs True Stories from a sometimes harsh reality and of course, lots of humor.
