Jethro Navejas

Jethro Navejas is a bass player from El Monte California who lives with Spina Bifida. His interest in music began when his dad took him to see The Ventures as a kid. He adds "I was so impressed and inspired by their music that it lit the passion for music and playing guitar in me".

Jethro currently plays bass with his church's worship ministry.

When asked of funny gigs or things gone wrong, Jethro says "I've played to a crowd of cleanup crew after we were scheduled to play at the end of a large event and I forgot my bass at home for a gig we did at an event really far away. LOL!"

Jethro is deeply inspired by James Jamerson, Victor Wooten, Flea, and Henrik Linder.

Jethro says "My biggest challenge as a musician has been that I don't have a formal musical education. I'm mostly self taught and it has slowed my progress because I have to make time to learn new skills".
