Joe Hardy the drummer for Alternative Rock Band Unit 287 has been playing the drums for over 30 Years. His experience and past bands have included everything from Heavy Metal to Country Rock. And even a little bit of Jazz. His drumming style has been described as hard hitting and powerful.
With good chops and impeccable timing. Joe has been fortunate enough to have played with some great musicians in the past. Including a short stint with guitarist Ronny North. He has also been endorsed by some great companies including Mayer Bros Drums Axis Percussion Sabian Cymbals and Danmar Percussion Products.
What makes Joe stand out from most drummers is the fact that despite being born with a no legs he has managed to still becomes a successful professional musician.
Not just wanting to get by on the drums Joe has become a much respected drummer in the drumming community even having the opportunity to call some of the best drummers in the world his friends.
Joe has even shared the stage with heavyweights such as Terry Bozzio Greg Bissonette and Joe Pocaro. Just to name a few. So drumming for Unit 287 was a natural fit for Joe.
Joe has presented with the Can-Do Musos team at The NAMM Show in 2015 and 2016.
