Kiel Van Daal is a drummer from Sydney, Australia. Born in 1986 lives with Mild Cerebral Palsy (left hemi).
Diagnosed at 18 months Kiel received treatment throughout his childhood and for most of his teen years. After refusing to have an operation that would see his right side effected to slow it's growth, Kiel sort more natural alternatives such as Chiropractory.
At the age of 12 Kiel started playing the drums after mucking around at a family friends house, soon after, he started taking lessons at his high school and has never looked back.
Now 27, Kiel plays actively in the Sydney and Australian live scene, with band Marlow. Kiel has toured the East Coast and beyond numerous times. After the recent release of Marlow's debut EP Kiel is mid way through the 2nd leg of the EP's national tour, taking the band to new venues and cities, including Adelaide.
Kiel plays Pansini Percussion drums, Zildjian cymbals, DW hardware, Remo heads and Vater sticks.
