Sal Aversano is a guitarist/singer songwriter who has epilepsy. Sal says "What really got me started was, in grade school I saw some kids dressed up as Kiss miming to one of their songs. I was around 8 or 9".

After putting in many nights of study following The Grateful Dead. Sal Began Playing Around The New Brunswick Collage Hangouts. He says "I'm a Dead Head I saw them 64 times between 1984 and 1995. If Jerry Garcia was still around I'd still be going".

As A lead guitar player I also enjoy players like Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Warren Hayes, and Derick Trucks. Songwriters I really appreciate. Outside of the obvious one's like Garcia/Hunter and Dylan. Are folks like Ryan Adams and Son Volts Jay Farrar.

Sal says "Playing actually keeps my epilepsy at bay. I don't have any ticks or anything while I'm playing. I've had a doctor tell me my music is the best thing for me".
