The Bridge are an inclusive band. Three members of the Bridge have a disability, although you do not see it when they perform.

The Bridge play improvised non song based contemporary popular music.

Formed in early 2012, they have been making their mark on the local music scene in the Northern NSW city of Lismore, running their own inclusive Rock and Roll night at a local bowling club as well as playing at Pubs, Clubs and music Festivals. Playing a range of acoustic and electronic instruments and using sound, image and text, The Bridge create an ever-changing sound and light show of non-song based experimental, contemporary, popular music.

Mike Smith a professional keyboard player/singer songwriter who is blind, Jackson Reid, the Bridge's own Rapper with Autism and has an intellectual disability,

and drummer Mark Dein who has Epilepsy and has an intellectual disability, are joined well known musicians from around the Lismore area: Michael White (Invisible Friend), David Snug (SNUG), and Zeb Schulz.

Singer / songwriter Mike Smith says "Music has always been my passion and whenever I listen to music it reflects my moods".

"You can do anything in life, the disability doesn't matter, what matters is the music" says Jackson Reid

Mark Dein says "Support us so you can enjoy the band and The Bridge, you will love it!"

The Bridge will be touring to Poland and the Ukraine in September of this year where we will collaborate and perform in five cities with other inclusive outfits and run workshops with people with and without disability.

Mike says "It makes me feel excited to do this trip. Playing overseas, a new experience performing to a different nationality of people".

Jackson says "Its really exciting to go to another country. It will be good to show other people with disabities what you can do if you get the chance. l hope it makes poland people happy when we perform."
